Dubai , September 2, 2026 : Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai South dedicated to advancing the aviation industry, has announced continued progress on its new Suppliers Complex, further expanding its infrastructure in response to growing demand from aviation and aerospace businesses seeking to establish and expand their operations at Dubai South.

The new facility builds on the success of MBRAH’s existing Suppliers Complex, the first vertical aerospace complex in the region, and forms part of the ongoing expansion of its Aerospace Supply Chain zone.

Upon completion by the end of 2026, the facility will feature 88 leasable units across three levels, catering to maintenance service providers, aircraft parts traders and aerospace companies. The development is designed primarily to support start-ups and SMEs seeking flexible spaces within MBRAH’s integrated aerospace ecosystem.

Dubai, September 2, 2026 : Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) will return to Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, from 22nd to 26th October 2026 for its Spring/Summer 2027 (SS27) edition, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for fashion and creativity.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council, the upcoming edition of DFW will present a curated programme showcasing regional creativity, while continuing to champion emerging designers on the global stage. The SS27 edition will bring together a lineup of designers alongside leading buyers and key industry stakeholders.

Complementing the runway schedule, the programme will include networking opportunities for designers, buyers, established retailers and members of the media. Dubai , September 2, 2026 : The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure convened the first Executive Technical Roundtable of the Global Energy Efficiency Alliance (GEEA) during Middle East Energy 2026, bringing together senior government officials, corporate leaders, technology providers, and financial institutions to accelerate the implementation of practical and scalable energy efficiency solutions.

Held under the theme “Moving Energy Efficiency from Commitments to Action,” the high-level roundtable focused on translating energy efficiency ambition into implementation through innovative technologies, pilot projects, financing mechanisms and stronger collaboration between governments, industry, and financial institutions.

The roundtable presented GEEA’s vision and growing international implementation agenda, while providing participating companies with an opportunity to share innovative technologies, implementation case studies, and pilot projects capable of delivering measurable energy efficiency improvements.

Discussions also explored opportunities for technology validation, collaborative pilot projects, financing solutions, and implementation partnerships that could support wider deployment across participating countries.

Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, said, “Energy efficiency is no longer simply an opportunity to reduce energy consumption; it is a strategic imperative for strengthening energy security, enhancing competitiveness, and supporting sustainable economic growth. Led by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, GEEA is a government-led, implementation-focused alliance established to help bridge the gap between global energy efficiency commitments and practical action.

The Alliance brings together governments, industry, financial institutions, technology providers, international organisations, and academia to accelerate the deployment of practical and scalable solutions through policy collaboration, technical cooperation, capacity building, technology partnerships, project matchmaking, and knowledge exchange.

The roundtable also highlighted the role of the GEEA digital platform in supporting continued collaboration beyond the event. Sharjah, September 2, 2026 : From a simple thread transformed into a handcrafted piece to an engineering idea brought to
life, 75 participants at the House of Wisdom Summer Camp took part in two activities that
combined hands-on learning with creativity and practical skills.
During the “Make Your Own Summer Crochet Bag” workshop, participants learned the
fundamentals of crochet and techniques for making bags using recycled T-shirt yarn, choosing
their own colours and details to give each piece a personal touch. The workshop combined
creative expression with the precision of crochet, while showing how recycled materials can find
new life through craft.
At the Al Jazari FabLab, the “Elite Engineer Summer Camp” took students from theory to hands-
on practice. Participants learned to use tools safely, perform basic repairs, and read technical
drawings while exploring the fundamentals of construction, electrical work, and vehicle
maintenance. They also developed their public-speaking and presentation skills, learning how to
communicate their ideas with confidence.

Excellence Award in Corporate Governance Practices 2026,
presented by Cambridge IFA, in recognition of its excellence in
applying global best practices in corporate governance and

The achievement reinforces RTA’s leading position in adopting
advanced frameworks for governance, risk management and
internal control, supporting the achievement of its strategic
objectives, enhancing corporate performance, and elevating the
quality of services provided to customers and the community.
Faisal Al Taheri, Director of Internal Audit at RTA, said: “This award

Ajman , September 1, 2026 : The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media has announced a new incentive programme for travel trade partners as part of its strategy to strengthen Ajman’s presence in the Indian market.

The Ajman Partner Tourism Growth Incentive Programme will run from 15th September to 1st December, offering eligible travel agents performance-based incentives for confirmed passenger bookings to Ajman.

The programme aims to encourage greater destination promotion, strengthen Ajman’s inclusion in UAE travel itineraries and support visitor growth during the campaign period.

The initiative was announced during a three-city promotional roadshow across Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, which brought together travel agents, tour operators and tourism partners for B2B meetings and destination presentations.

The Department used the roadshow to highlight Ajman’s tourism offering and explore new opportunities for commercial collaboration with Indian travel trade partners.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, said, “India represents a key market within Ajman’s strategy to diversify its international visitor base and strengthen its global tourism presence.”

He added that the incentive programme is designed to create practical opportunities for travel trade partners to expand Ajman’s presence in their portfolios, generate bookings and contribute to sustainable visitor growth.

Alhashmi said the Department’s approach focuses on long-term partnerships, destination knowledge and shared value, while working with travel agents, tour operators and destination management companies to develop products suited to Indian travellers.

Neeti Sharma, Director of Intrepid Marketing & Communications, said Indian travellers are increasingly seeking distinctive experiences across the UAE, adding that Ajman is well positioned through its combination of culture, heritage, leisure, nature, family experiences and hospitality.

She said the incentive programme would provide additional momentum during an important travel period and support stronger consideration of Ajman among Indian travellers.

Sharjah , September 1, 2026 : Sharjah Education Academy has opened admissions and enrolment for eight new postgraduate programmes in special educational needs and early childhood education.

The new offering comprises four academic specialisms, delivered through eight separate programmes in Arabic and English, providing flexible study options for educators seeking to advance their knowledge and strengthen their professional expertise.

The new programmes support the academy’s direction to expand its academic programmes and strengthen professional and academic development pathways in priority areas of the education sector, including early childhood, special educational needs, and inclusive education.

Dr Muhadditha Yahya Al Hashimi, President of Sharjah Education Academy, said the programmes reflect the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which places people and education at the heart of development.

“Our new programmes have been designed in response to real needs in the education field,” she said, adding that investment in early childhood lays the foundations for learning and development, while specialisation in special educational needs and inclusive education helps institutions respond to learner diversity.

The programmes comprise four academic specialisms, delivered through eight separate programmes in Arabic and English: the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs, the Master of Education in Special Educational Needs, the Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and the Master of Education in Early Childhood Education, each offered in both Arabic and English.

The programmes provide progressive academic pathways that help students develop knowledge and professional expertise in each specialism by combining academic study with field application and research, strengthening alignment between outcomes and the needs of the education field.

In special educational needs, the academy offers the Postgraduate Diploma, which runs over one academic year and comprises 24 credit hours, combining blended learning with practical application through two specialist practica.

The programme focuses on understanding learning and neurodiversity, assessing special educational needs, designing evidence-based interventions, and developing inclusive pedagogical practice, alongside policy and practitioner inquiry.

Subject to the applicable admission requirements, diploma graduates may continue their academic pathway and complete the Master of Education in Special Educational Needs over one additional academic year, while the master’s programme runs over two years for new students and comprises 36 credit hours.

The programme broadens the scope of specialisation to include assessment, intervention, leadership, policy, research and evidence-based practice, supported by two faculty-supervised practica, applied research and a dissertation.

Students enrolled in the English track may have the opportunity to pursue an optional dual-degree pathway with the University of Exeter, expanding their academic experience through an internationally recognised university.

Students who complete the academic requirements of both institutions may earn two separate qualifications – one from Sharjah Education Academy and one from the University of Exeter.

Participation in the pathway is subject to eligibility and separate admission to the University of Exeter.

In early childhood education, the academy offers the Postgraduate Diploma, which runs over one academic year and comprises 24 credit hours, combining blended learning with field application and focusing on child development and neuroscience, curriculum design, multilingual and play-based learning, assessment and pedagogical documentation, and the use of science, technology and digital learning.

Subject to the applicable admission requirements, the diploma allows graduates to progress to the Master of Education in Early Childhood Education over one additional academic year, while the master’s programme runs over two years for new students and comprises 36 credit hours.

The programme centres on developing more advanced expertise in leadership, pedagogical practice and practitioner inquiry, supported by two faculty-supervised practica and a research-based capstone project.

The eight programmes open a range of career pathways for graduates, including teaching and coordination roles; specialist practice in special educational needs and early childhood education; curriculum and pedagogy development; intervention planning and learner support; educational leadership; professional development and school improvement; and consultancy and related education services.

Applications are open for all eight programmes in both Arabic and English through the Sharjah Education Academy website.

Abudhabi , September 1, 2026 : Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, The fourth day of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026), taking place under the theme “A Legacy of Pride”, attracted strong visitor turnout from the early hours of the day. Family attendance increased significantly during the evening, with the exhibition welcoming visitors daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

The 23rd edition of the exhibition, the largest in its history, continues to deliver a diverse programme that brings together heritage, culture, entertainment and education, alongside equestrian, falconry and Arabian Saluki displays, as well as interactive activities. Designed to appeal to visitors of all ages, the programme offers a comprehensive experience and further reinforces the exhibition’s status as a leading family and cultural destination.

The fourth day’s programme featured a variety of live performances, beginning in the morning with an Arabian horse showcase, followed by police dog obedience demonstrations, pony riding experiences and trained dog displays that attracted visitors of all ages.

Activities continued throughout the afternoon with falconry-inspired demonstrations, alongside performances by African drum, dance and acrobatic groups, as well as Japanese Taiko drum performances, adding further cultural diversity and entertainment to the exhibition’s daily programme.

Equestrian and Emirati heritage performances attracted significant visitor interest. The programme included a traditional Emirati horse and flag display, Arabian horse showcases and a variety of equestrian performances. Arabian Saluki demonstrations also drew considerable attention, highlighting the breed’s important place in Emirati heritage and its historic association with the daily lives and traditions of previous generations.

The evening programme combined horse-riding performances with falconry demonstrations, in addition to traditional maritime-themed performances. Visitors also enjoyed the heritage-inspired Tshouleeb performance before the evening programme concluded with additional equestrian and falconry displays.

As part of the exhibition’s educational and awareness activities, the Learning Majlis hosted a youth workshop alongside interactive visitor activities. Abu Dhabi Police also delivered a series of awareness initiatives through the Community Police Department, including a workshop highlighting the dangers of drug abuse.

The programme additionally featured a specialised session on pre-purchase horse examinations, which explored the importance of veterinary assessments prior to purchasing horses, as well as a session dedicated to free diving.

The strong attendance recorded on the fourth day reflected the diversity of the exhibition’s audience. Morning activities attracted enthusiasts, specialists and professionals from the hunting, equestrian sports, heritage and outdoor adventure sectors, while the evening programme welcomed increasing numbers of families and children following the first day of the new academic year, allowing them to enjoy the exhibition’s live performances, interactive activities and heritage experiences.

ADIHEX 2026 continues to offer a rich programme of experiences and activities throughout its ten-day run, combining the preservation and promotion of Emirati heritage with cultural, educational and interactive experiences designed to engage all segments of society.
